In big win over Thunder, Jimmy Butler shows exactly why Wolves traded for him

An upper respiratory infection kept Jimmy Butler out of the Minnesota Timberwolves' last two games, and his absence showed.

The Wolves were blown out by both the Indiana Pacers and Detroit Pistons, losing each game by 20-plus points. But on Friday night, despite not being back to 100 percent, Butler was back on the floor, and he showed exactly why the Wolves traded for him this summer.

The All-Star forward was phenomenal on the night, dropping 25 points on an extremely efficient 7-of-10 from the field, while also getting to the line on numerous occasions to hit 11 of 13 free-throw attempts. On top of his scoring, he also dished out seven assists and grabbed five rebounds as the Wolves beat the Thunder, 119-116.
