Portugal snatched automatic qualification out of Switzerland’s grasp in the final group stage game, with a 2-0 win to reach the tournament in Russia.

Now, as Santos and Co embark on two somewhat pointless friendlies, Portugal have opted to rest Ronaldo.

The Madrid star instead opted to head away on his private jet to conduct some business deals.

Snapped on his jet, covered in a near £1,000 Hermes blanket, Ronaldo captioned the image of himself lying down: “Work done.”
